Lady gaga has joined forces with designer Versace. The Italian fashion Company have named “Do what you want” singer the face of their Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Gaga is donning a revealing lilac dress and long blond locks, while reclining in a lounge chair. She completes the stunning look with a purple statement ring, stacked rings and pale peach lips. Gaga recently wore three Versace looks when she hosted Saturday Night Live, including a glitzy silver frock during her opening monologue.
Proving the adage that two is better than one, the twin divas have look-like previous form, dressing in similar vein during Milan Fashion Week appearances, while Gaga has also referenced the big D on new album, ARTPOP, with her own dedicated track. Donatella herself is quoted as saying: “I am honored that my friend Lady Gaga is the face of our new Versace campaign. I wanted to capture her true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring. She is like family to me, the embodiment of the Versace DNA.”
Lady Gaga is notorious for creating the most unique and outlandish styles in show business, but her latest look is very familiar. ‘Donatella is an incredible crazy fun pop song with really raising electronic beats that I did with Zedd,’ she told Just Jared in August. ‘It’s about being a fearless female and not caring what people say about you – being proud of who you are and walking the walk no matter what.
Are we absolutely sure that Lady Gaga is not a clone of Donatella Versace? The two seem to be look pretty alike. What do you think about Lady Gaga being the new face of Versace?
